    Give the child with the cough ass's milk three times daily out of a goat's horn, putting the child three times under and over the ass before and after drinking the milk.

    A wash made of white copperas, also a wash made with the plant eyebright.

    1 lb treacle, 1/2 lb sulphur, l oz cream of tartar, l oz of ginger thoroughly mixed; l spoonful fasting daily.

    Garlic; also to swing with the hands from a height; also to drink peppermint.

    Eat mashed carrots and
