    morning early he hops along on his run unaware of his great danger. As soon as he comes to the hole he smells it and passes on. But when he hops on the covering it gives and he is flung into the hole. Every attempt he makes to jump out fails him and so he is forced to stay there till the trapper comes and takes him.
