  1. Muillin tirim - A village near the school. On the bank of a stream flowing through the village a mill was worked long ago. The stream grew shallow and the mill had to close down.
    Liosdubh - This village got its name from a very large lios in the neighbourhood
    Páirc na bFiadh- When the Blakes lived in Dunmacreena they kept deer in this park
    Sraith mór. Beside the river Clare in Dunmacreena. This is generally flooded in Winter but provides rich grazing in Summer.
