  1. Long-ago Co Kilkenny was very famous for poets
    Pat Peters who lived in Balintee was dull of sight but he was a very famous poet.
    He made one very well known poem about Wallace's of Balintee this poem is still known by the people locally and is called "Callaghan's new machine".
    Pat Peters died in the County Home at the old age of seventy eight.
