  1. There are about four wells in this district that I know of namely St Lenard's well, St Brighid's well, St James's well and Lady's well.
    St Lenard's well is situated on the lands owned by Mr Walshe of Dunnamaggin.
    It is supposed to be a famous well for curing people.
    St Lenard had a tree at this well where he used to offer up Mass.
