    Folklore.
    The people long ago had no houses only mud wall cabins with a roof of scraws and thatched with rushes. The fireplace was in the middle of the floor and then was a hole in the roof to let out the smoke.
    They had no windows at that time only holes in the wall and instead of doors they had only small openings through which they crawled in foot.
