    Folklore
My grandfather told me some of the old customs which were carried out long ago.
It was said if you didn't pull a lot of shamrocks the day before St.Patricks day and put them in a jar and leave them there until Easter Sunday you would have no luck for seven months.
Long ago the young children used to go around gathering eggs for to sell them for to get money for to have a feast Easter Sunday .
