  2. My mother still uses the old-fashioned dash churn.
    The various parts of this churn are - the - dash the lid and the "caissin".
    When the churning is almost made water is added to gather the butter.
    When the butter is made the dash gets clear.
    Water is also used to clean the dash and lid before
