  1. The most historic place in my village is "The Fort". It is situated on the top of "Cnoc and Cirruí". It is said that it was the danes who built it and they used it as a hiding place when any trouble was at hand There is any underground channel leading to the rooms. There is a well in one of the rooms. It is said that two men went into the Fort and when they tried to enter the third room a black pig was at the entry before them. The Fort is surrounded by bushes.
