    father and brother dig and pick the potatoes. They are brought home and the big potatoes are put in a pit for themselves and the small ones are put in another pit.
    They are covered with scraws and when they are all dug they are covered with clay. The kinds of potatoes are, Kerpinks, Aran Banners, May Queens, Aran Victors, Dates, Epicures, Flounders and Scotch Triumphs.
