  1. There is a holy well in my parish known as St. Patrick's well. It is said that he drank water out of that well on his way to Crough Patrick. It is situated in Mr. Gavins field in Ballyheane. People still visit that well and do Stations around it. Some people leave relics such as money, pins and hairpins. The old people say if a person had sore eyes and do a station round the well he would be cured
