woman living beside that stream and when she died it was called after her. There is a big rock in our field and we call it "Carraig Mór". There is a hill in my district known as "Cnoc an Cirruí" it got its name from the row of hills. There are bushes in my village and it is said that they are enchanted because the time of the Famine there were people buried there and the old people say that these bushes grew over some of their graves and the people would not cut them.
