    The dinner of this day is also very good.
    Churches are decorated for this great feast which is really more welcome by the old people.
    You have the long day and the trees bursting into leaf - the birds building their nests and singing or warbling amongst the trees.
    People who have plenty eggs make presents of them to poorer people. Eggs are regarded here as a "luxury present" and are often given to a child who enters your house for the first time.
    They are also given to a new comer in the district.
    A hen and clutch chickens are often given, too.
    When I came to live in our new house, I got from a woman in the place, a hen and chickens. She said they would bring me luck.
