  1. One night long ago a man named Jim Walsh was travelling towards the village of Kilkishen. As he was nearing the village, he espied a house by the wayside which was never there before. Anyhow he strolled in to light his pipe. Having lit his pipe he put his back to the fireplace.
    The house was full of people, who were dancing for all they were worth. He stood there until well after midnight. He got up to go home, when he got three kicks in the back and was flung out the door. When he recovered from his kicks he found that the house was no longer there. He got up to go home when he heard a voice calling him. On looking up he saw a man staring at him who said, "Never be out any night as late as this," then he vanished into the night.
