   Of all the weeds there are the most harmful are the thistle, colts foot, day nettle, chicken weed, red shanks, coal foot and mustard seed. The thistle is harmful because it impoverishes the soil and is hard to handle the crop with it.
   Crow foot is harmful because it spreads rapidly. Day nettle impoverishes the soil and it is called the day nettle because it stings in the day time when the sun is shining.
   Chicken weed spreads rapidly. Red shanks impoverishes the soil, cold foot spreads rapidly and has a very large leaf, mustard seed prevents crops from growing.
   I have got information that these herbs grow only where land is good
   cuckoo sorrel, hops and man drake, these herbs grow only where land is bad or boggy- billberry, dandelion, sloe,dock root and ivy.
   These herbs grow on normal land- cuckoo leaves, berries on 'buartree'. The
