- One night there was a wake, and it was in the townland of Lisnagore. The woman who was being waked lived alone. she died very suddenly. The woman that washed her could not get her legs to stop down and so she put a stone on her knees to keep them down. So that night there was a crowd of people at the wake and they were praying themselves around the bed. The stone slipped off and her knees jumped up. The boys that were in the room ran for their lives, as they thought that she was after them, and in their flight they took the "jamb wall" with them, because it was made of mud.
