  1. The people long ago used not hurl like they hurl now. There used be two parishes hurling against one another and they would have twenty one on each side. They had no goals that time and each person would try to get the ball and run out of the field with it and bring it into their own parish and then they would have it won.
    They had no referee and they used not wear any jerseys like they do now only their own clothes.

  2. Long ago there were some great hurling teams and they used to fix the matches between themselves.
    They had different jerseys in every parish The most noted teams at that time were Ruan
