  1. Saint Simon's Well
    There is a blessed well in Erribul called St Simon's well in John McNamara's land. People come there from far and near to do rounds. There are two footpaths one near the well and, the other farther out. The people that want to do rounds go around each circle five times and the say the rosary while going around. People who were cured there.
    Thomas Ryan formerly of Derryguihy was cured from lameness and he left his crutch after him as a proof of a cure. Generally it is famous for curing sore eyes. The people always drink the water and rub it to the organs of their five senses. They generally take some water home with them. They also leave a couple of pence for the upkeep of the well. Some people leave blessed pictures and books there. James Obrien was cured from lameness and he left his crutch there and
