are ten houses demolished. The names of these families are Clarks, Lennon,Reillys, Smiths, Carolans and Lynchs. All these people make their living in this townland. One of these is my grandfather.
We can see from our door the slopes of Taghart mountain. We can also see Dhuish. This mountain got its name from its black colour. There are about a hundred people living in this district. Some of these houses are thatched and others are slated. The land is very hilly and boggy and there is bad land in it. None of these old people know any Irish, but they can tell English stories. There are many old ruins in this district.
Many people from the district went to other countries. Reilly is the most common name in this district.
