Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The old people had a "home cure" for every disease. They had cures for the ringworm, burns, a wart, a sprain, and boils. Some particular man in the district would have the cure of one of these. Anyone who had any of those diseases used to go to the right man, and he would cure the disease. The old people believed there was a cure in dandelion. They used to make tea out of the dandelion. This liquid was called dandelion tea. It was not very pleasant to drink, but the old people did not mind drinking it, so long as there was a cure in it.
    If a person had ringworm, soot was put on it. A sprain was bathed in bog water. There are many
