Another time there came a man to Mr. Lynch's house. Mr McCabe brought one of the clocks and made a song about it. A verse of it is.

He would take up a piece of paper and pretend he was reading a rhyme about any topic. He made a rhyme about the "Boer War" and a verse of it is.
