    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There are many objects used in the house for special purposes such as Saint Bridget's Cross. It is made of rushes in the shape of a cross and it is made to keep the house from being burned. Saint Mogue's clay is also used to keep the house from being burned. A horse shoe is hung on the wall for good luck.
    Primroses and daisies are thrown around all the doors on May days. Around the days of Christmas Holly and Ivy are put around the house to decorate it for the coming Feast. On Palm Sunday the Palm is distributed to the people. The shamrock is the of Éire and the thistle is the emblem of Scotland. The Round berry is hung up in the byre on May-eve to keep the fairies form milking the cows. There is a spa [?]
