Ar an leathanach seo
- The food of the Irish people in olden times was very plain and consisted of whole meal bread made from wheat which they grew on their farms also potatoes bacon and cabbage. the better off people had three or four meals a day and the poorer had to do with less.
They had stirabout for their breakfast. it was made from oat meal. For dinner people had bacon cabbage and potatoes and often stirabout as well. They made their own bread.
On shrove Tuesday people had a great feast. During the seven weeks of Lent they did(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
