    He ordered the man (Mick Cassidy) to yoke the horses and get out to work and Mick refused. "Then", he said "I'll yoke them and work myself. St. Kieran never done anything for me".
    When he had the horses yoked one broke away and trampled on a small child of his in the yard, killing him. From that day to this a horse was never yoked on Saint Kieran's Day at Jonathan Ardills.
