Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There was a man one time and his name was Jack. He was married and after some time fell out with his wife. He left the house altogether and started off in search of work, but he got none. After some years he died and he was supposed to go up to heaven and ask to be let in, but St. Peter said there was no room for him. Then he went to (the) purgatory, but he was not let in there either. Then he went to the devil, but he met him at the gates and hit him on the face, and left a red mark on his face, he also cursed him. Ever since Jack is wandering about, and the red mark is a light, and anyone who sees Jack and his light is sure to go astray.
