Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Michael Curly lives in a townland called Ballyfarrel which is in the Parish of Killoughy in the Barony of Ballyboy. The meaning is "Baile" a town and "Farrell" of O Farrells which means that it was people by the name of O Farrells that owned it in former times. The number of families are composed of nine which consists of 47 people. The family name most common is Kinnarney. There are three old people over 70 years of age. Mrs Kinnarney and Mrs Bracken and Mrs Gleeson all their address's the same Ballyfarrell Blueball, Tullamore Offaly. None of them know Irish or they are not much good to tell stories. There is an old church on Brackens hill which was left in ruins by Cromwell, the marks of the old graves are to be seen there yet. About six people went to America. There are six houses,
