  1. Cure for Chilblains.
    Burn a sally rod and rub the ashes of it on them.
    Cure For a Sore-ear.
    Get a small piece of a ash tree and put it in the fire. Get the juice that comes out of it and put it on a piece of cotton - wool. Put this in your ear and it will soon go.

  2. Chilblains can be cured by rubbing Wagon Grease on them at night or by washing them in very hot potato water.
    A Cure For a toothache.
    Smoke brown or black paper and let the smoke go near the tooth
