  1. Toothaches. To cure a Toothache a person should smoke a pipe.
    Ring Worm. A cure for ring worm is to put wet sulphur on it.
    Sore Throat. A good for a sore throat is to get salt and warm it by the fire. Then put it into a stocking and it around the person's neck. Another cure is to put roasted potatoes into a stocking and tie the stocking around the person's neck.
    Warts. To sure warts we get washing soda and heat it. Then the washing soda is rubbed on the warts and after a short time the warts fall off.
    A Sting. To cure the sting of a wasp os to take it out with a needle.
    Backache. To cure a backache is to stitch a hare's skin on to the back of your waist coat and it will cure it.
    Chilblain. A cure for chilblains is to put a griddle in the fire and
