    Local Marriage Customs
    Marriages take place in Summer most frequently in this district. There is a saying about when you should get married
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wedenesday the best day of all
    Thursday for crosses
    Friday for losses
    Saturday no day at all.
    The bride should not wear a green dress because it is said to be unlucky
    The bride should have the fortune for the bridegroom. Sheep and cattle
    are sometimes given instead of money or if the bride owned the house it would do instead of money. On the wedding day there there is always and dancing and (sio) singing held in the house. There is a wedding feast held in nearly every house. This is for the people of the district who all gather together in the house uninvited and dance and sing. There would also be a number
