    Severe weather
In the year 1880 there was a great thunder storm which caused a lot of damage. There was a man named James Bookey ploughing in a field near his home when a big blast of thunder and lightning came which struck the two horses and killed them dead and the man was badly burned. In the year 1819 there was a very big wind which blew the roofs off nearly every house in the district of Coolbawn and blew ricks of of straw and hay all over the place
