There was a clergyman in Newbawn wan time and he was nearly the first around here that used tay.
He was in town wan day and he bought one lb or two of tay. Soon after he invited two or three other clergyman to dinner and after the priest tould the servant girl to bring down the tay. Now the girl Peggie was her name didn't know a thing about how to make tay, and she did not want to ask how to make it. So what did she do only boil the leaves and put them out on desert plates dressed up with butter and laid the plates on the table before the clergymen.
The priest was wan o' the rale ould times and Peggie sted on in the room(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
