    they will die. When they begin to get strong they are fed on boiled nettles.
    Ducks are very hardy fowl. When they are born they are able to go about just like the big ducks. The first time they see water they run in and swim about.
    When young geese are born they are called gosslings. First they have to be taken care of, so that rats will not come and take them away; but after that they can be let into a field where they can get plenty of water and grass.
    Without farm fowls we would have no fresh eggs.
