  1. There are a great many cures in this locality. Some of which are:-
    In Legan there is a little well, the shape of a saucer, on the roadside. The well is called the Wart well. It is said that if you have a wart and come to this well three times each time dropping a pin into the well that after some time the wart will fall off. Another cure for warts is a cure which Mr. Trimble gives to anyone who asks him for it. Mr. Trimble has a cure for yellow gandis also. He makes a medicine of Dandeline and other herbs and gives it to whoever needs it.
