One road extends from the school to Longford, another from the school to Edgeworthstown, another from the school to Ballynacarrgy and another from the school to (Ballynacarrgy) Ballymahon. There are many roads in this locality of various names. Some call the Edgeworthstown road the High Road, others the Kilglass Road and others the Church Road. There are various reasons for calling this road such names.
