So the man being angry with he heard and saw he said "When ye have done it so well ye can keep her altogether" At that the cow disappeared out sight.
Next day they looked in vain for cow but she was not there. So at the end of four years the man and the old lady went out to milk as usualy. Looking towards the fort they saw the same cow coming out of the fort and four heifer following her That was a calf for every year the cow was away. So after that I think the fairies took departure out of Flaherty's fort.
