  1. There were six men digging potatoes in a field one day. At dinner time the went over to a corner of the field to eat their dinner. As they were eating their dinner six little women came out of the fort and began to pick the potatoes and put them in their aprons. The men were too frightened to speak, but in ten minutes the little women dissapeared into the fort. When the men had finished their dinner what should they see but not a single potato was missing.
