    There is a holy well beside a big tree in a field in Moyvoughly. It is called St. Patrick's well. Beside it is a big stone and the mark of a knee known as St. Patrick's knee is hewn from the stone. When people are changing from one house to another it is on a Friday because it is considered as a lucky day. It is said that the seventh son of a family has the power to cure ringworm wildfire and other diseases of the body. When he is born, he makes a rign on the floor and a worm is put in it and the worm will die inside the ring. It is said that if you give away money on the first Monday of the new year you will have no money throughout the whole year:
