  1. Toothache. There is a grave in Temple Cross grave yard named Fr Cantwell grave and clay from it is a great cure of toothache.
    Take a tooth out of a skull in a church yard and suck it and it will cure a tooth ache.
    Sage tea is an excellent mouth wash and if kept in the mouth very hot will often give relief. So, too, will common [?] salt and water which perhaps is the best of all.
    Oil of cloves to be bought from any chemist is an accepted remedy for tooth ache. A small piece of cotton wool on which a drop or two of the oil has been poured should be applied to the tooth.
    If you let a frog touch your tooth it will cure tooth ache.
    If a man says a prayer to the B.V and does not shave on a Sunday, that is a cure for a tooth ache.
    If a women says a prayer to the B.V and not comb her hair on a Friday that is another cure for tooth ache.
