  2. The old people tell us about the "big wind" that occurred in the country in the year 1903. One night in February the storm started and continued during the night. A lot of damage during the storm but around this district not many lives were lost. But in Dublin and other counties many people died in the storm. The steeple of the Church in Horseleap was blown off and it broke the roof of the church when it crashed down
