    A Story.
Once upon a time a man and his son lived in a small house near a hill. They were both very poor .A rich man lived near them and the young lad went to his house every day and stole golden spoons from him.
After a while the gentle-man began to notice that the spoons were disappearing .he thought it was his servants were going away with them .So one day he covered the table with golden spoons .Then he hid behind the door and the young lad came in and took away some of them.
Then the rich-man followed the boy to his fathers house ,took the spoons off him and gave him up to some robbers ,who let him down the chimney in a bucket to rob the house. When they got him down they left him there .He then went into a room where there happened to be sheep's skin,he rolled himself in this ,and next morning when the people of the house got up,he began to shout, declaring if he got his freedom there would never be ghost's in the house again. He followed the robbers to the wood ,having lighted a candle put it into his mouth and shouted ,whereupon the robbers fled leaving their treasure behind them.He got out of the skin ,filled his pockets with money and all the treasure he could carry away and brought it home to his father where they both lived in plenty after.
