  1. A Story About Treasure
My grandfather James O'Halloran, farm-labourer, Newtown Anner, told me this story.
Once a man dreamt that there was gold in a certain spot. Next day he went digging for the gold. Soon he came upon a big flag. He tried to lift it but it was too heavy. He said he would wait until the next day and living men to help him. He did and they brought shovels and spades. They just had the flag lifted up when they saw a bull coming towards them with fire out of his eyes nad his nose. They ran away and left it all there.
