  2. It was said that a leipreachaun lived in the Parish of Borrisoleigh. But I do not know the exact place. It was said he was a shoemaker. The people tried to make him give up his gold. But they did not succeed. The leipreachauns are not looked upon as friendly beings. The story was told about in the place where he was, he used to throw stones at the people. But
