  1. There are no tailors now in the district. There was a tailor in the district about a hundred year's ago named Murphy. He used to travel from house to house making clothes for two shilling he would make a suit of clothes he used to stock no stuff the people would have the stuff when he would come. In former time's people used to make shirts in the home's of flax, they used to grow the flax themselves sock's and stocking's are knitted locally the people buy the stuff for the stockings in the shops
