    The wren boys in my district go gathering the wren on the wrens day they go about gathering the money to bury the wren they sing song's, and dance on St Patrick's Day, all the people wear a shamrock or a harp on that. On Shrove Tuesday people married on St John Day people light bonfires and Easter Sunday a lot of egg's are eaten on Ash Wednesday people put blessed ashes on their forheads St Martin's Day a hen or chicken or something is killed and blood is spilled behind the door. Christmas Day people put up holly and they leave it up for twelve days of Christmas, and everybody have a
