    prepares the ground for to sow them. The ground is manured before it is turned up, the potatoes are sowed in ridges and drill's. The ridge's are long and narrow, and a spade is used for making them. The spade's are made locally in the forge. Every potatoe that is sowed there is supposed to be an eye in it if not it will not grow. The local people help one another when sowing crop's. The name's of potatoes that are sown are, Aran Banner's. Eppicures. Champion's. Ker pink's.
