    There is local fairs held in Thurles, Templemore. Kilcommon. Nenagh. When animal's are sold there is luck money given back. When the parties are buying they would strike hand's. The animal's are marked when sold such as cutting of the hair of the animal's[?] side. There is a special fair held in Nenagh for bonham's, and it is held in Thurle's for sheep. And there is also a fair in Thurle's for cattle[?]
