  2. There are two forges in our parish the smiths are Pat Bourke, Cullokill, Borrisoleigh, and Jim Bourke, Greenane, Templederry. They have been there for many years. Pat Bourke's forge is situated in Cullokill and the other is Greenane. The two forges are very near crossroads, and they are on the roadside. The tools that is used by the smiths are sledge, hammer, anvil, tongs, shovel. The smiths shoe horses, asses and also make farms
