Fer Dan Kennedy who was buried in the Pike church on April 1, 1856 was a very great priest. He was famous for curing people. People afflicted with all kinds of diseases of body and mind were brought to him from all over the country and he cured them all. It is said that he was silenced on account of his cures.
After his death the earth from his grave cured people. People came and took it away to cure the afflicted until they were prevented from doing so.
