    the time of the Penal Laws. All the people were beginning to become pagans and the priests were not allowed to say Mass in any Church and they had to go into the bogs and mountains.
    There are six bushes and this clump is called the Priest's Bush and inside the bushes there is a large rock which the Priests used to stand upon and preach to the people. We can still see the mark of the Priests feet where he used to stand and the grass is now growing about it.
