  1. Long ago the people use to make their own candles. The tallow used be melted into a mould. The tallow was made from sheep's fat. Then they would draw a wick through it. After that it could. Years ago the people used dye their own clothes with the bark of an oak tree. they would boil the bark of the tree and let it drew by the fire. After that they would dye the article they wanted and let it get dry. After that it could be worn. There was a man in this locality who used make baskets with twigs and bamboo rods. Then he would bend them in and out and make them into the form of a basket. Then he would make the handle for it. A great number of people used to make baskets long ago.
